Good location for sightseeing, it took about 15-20 minutes walk to Louvre Museum and 2 minutes to underground. The staff was friendly and polite. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable.
One of night receptionists did not speak English. The room was very small. There were no tea and coffee facilities. There were many prostitutes in the area.
very tiny room, shower and elevator; bed bugs
Location. Very close (2min walk) to subway station and 20min walk to Louvre etc. Decent sized room, with private shower and toilette (which I didn't asked for in the reservation).
Location, again. In spite of being close to the center, the area in which the hotel is located has a frankly decadent look. I had read that there were prostitutes around and booked anyway. That was true, but only after I was already there I found out that the area (Rua Saint Denis) is one of the oldest and most well-known red light districts in France. So it was a somewhat unpleasent place to be around.
Do not stay here! The hotel is located in an alley way that becomes prostitute and pimp central in the late afternoon, felt very unsafe. The hotel was dirty with stains on the bed sheets, the rooms have wafer thin walls and you can hear everything in the rooms next door above and below along with the girls on the streets out the front of the hotel selling themselves will guarantee a bad and uneasy nights sleep. There are far better value hotels in Paris.
The hotel is very well and centrally located, 1 minute from a métro station leading to 3 métro lines leading to the main attractions of Paris. The neighbourhood is lively with all amenities - restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, etc. The staff is very nice. And the internet connection is perfect when it works.
I would have given a 10 if not for the fact that, the last night, the internet connection was not functionning.
The room was enough big and clean, good location.
Very tiny lift and bathroom but this not such spoiled our stay. there was angry person at reseption, that demanded that we will pay now at the midle of the night, when we returned late to hotel. large windows in front of another house, so we needed always to close curtain, also at day.
Hotel was located close to the city center with good connecetion (metro station just a few metres from hotel) but in a bad part of the city with prostitutions, robbery etc., so it was not so good and safe to go out at night, but in the other hand, for visit of Paris it was sufficient. I would recommend just be careful when you go out late at night.
Location is very near to Local Metro. So its helpful
Staff was very rude..WIFI wasnt working, had called the reception and informed, he said "Ur problem, not our problem" didnt get the meaning but he was very rude, wanna kick his ass tht time... Not suitable for families since there are many prostitues around the hotel offering sex. Bathroom is very small and not a worth for that price
Nothing except location had some buisness around
Unfriendly staff bathroom was for lilliput people I couldnt get in the shower so small even my girlfriend size 36 had big difficulties I had to help her getting out
Access to the internet was only to the 4th floor. On the 6th floor there was no chance to have it. Heating system was not working properly on the 6th floor, so in the consequence there was cold in room. Additionally windows door was broken and permamently open. No chance to close it up. So, the good thing was curtain, which partially help to seal the window up. It cause cold magnified. Bedclothes have spots of some fluids from the past. Although have been washed up the visual aspect have a lot with it.
The hotel is in a convenient location, within 2 minutes of the Strasbourg- St Denis station. There was lift access to the rooms which was great. Rooms were relatively clean and the free WiFi worked!
Room was a little small, and the shower was tiny.
Close to metro and to city sights
The rooms are very small and not very clean The quality of service is minimal The staff is unfriendly The neibourhood is dirty and fool of prostitutes even though close to city attractions
That is very well located for visiting the most important atractions in Paris. The bed is confortable and it is clean. It is a quite area, no noises, we can sleep and relax nicely even though we were so close to the centre and interesting areas. The area and environment is safe even though there are prostitutes that is not any disturb or anything else, we did not see anything annoying.
The bedroom was too small for 4 days and 2 people, there was no wardrobe of furniture for clothes or things, we had no keep our stuff inside our suitcases. The shower was so small that was difficult not to flood the toilet, which was as well so extremely small that we needed to keep the door open for washing our faces. The elevator starts in the 1st floor, so need to climb till there, in case somebody has any trouble with stairs, it could be a little inconvenience. One of the recepcionist was not nice at all and did not facilitate our stay at all, more that facilitating he made trouble and put difficulties, as for exemple not calling for us to our transfer to pick up to the airport and telling us that we had to go somewhere else to call when all the public telephones around work with a telephone card and do not accept coins... In the street when we were looking for a place to call and asked a man how could we manage, he told us to call from his mobile phone... so easy (luckily there are always so nice and selfless people around the world that helps you in moments of crisis ;)
Nice comfortable bed simple decoration with good taste very central location
Prostitutes in late hours. But it seems a fairly safe neighbourhood
opposite 2 different metro lines lots of eating opportunities locally lift in hotel (albeit smallest in the world) excellent shower lots of hot water at all times hot heating
noisy early cleaners paper thin walls broken shelves lots of small spaces to squeeze through eg: into bathroom, into room, lift, corridors Bit of a dodgy area
